We are pleased to introduce you to the University of Arizona Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology residency training program. The residency training program, established in 1971, is a fully accredited four year program that treats a diverse patient population. The majority of training occurs at Banner - University Medical Center at the Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson, Arizona. However, training opportunities occur at other locations throughout Tucson such as Banner - University Medical Center South Campus and Tucson Medical Center.
The department is composed of five active divisions including General Obstetrics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Gynecologic Oncology, Pelvic Reconstruction / Urogynecology, and Maternal Fetal Medicine. There is an active and fully accredited Fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Our broad curriculum encourages professional development in clinical, surgical and research skills.
