Steven Dudick, MD

Clinical Assistant Professor, Obstetrics and Gynecology

Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, Dr. Dudick has also lived in North Carolina, Maryland, and Florida before moving to Arizona in June 2017. As a resident at Wayne State University, he pursued additional training in health care administration, working alongside the hospital's Chief Medical Officer and Chief Executive Officer, which culminated in an award-winning quality improvement project in the resident-based OB/GYN clinic. He has continued to pursue quality improvement and administrative activities, having most recently served as both the Chair of OB/GYN and the Chair of Surgery at a small Southern Arizona hospital before joining the faculty at the University of Arizona.  He is an active instructor of medical students and residents.

Research Interests: 

Normal and preterm labor, cost-effective delivery of care, efficient utilization of healthcare resources and personnel.
